Press Information

Dear Media Representative:

This summer Northeast Ohio's Award-Winning Theme Park will open again, as it has every summer since 1993. The Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Marketplace offers something for everyone, from mellow enchanting music performed by talented international performers to exciting interactive entertainment and the clashing and bashing of Knights on the Field of Honor, all performed on 12 stages, seated in the shade of our forest. We're also pleased to present games of skill for the high-spirited, and for those who love to shop our festival offers high-quality, hand-crafted wares created by over a hundred different skilled artisans from across the nation.

The great escape from your mundane world begins at our stunning grand Front Gate. Stunning and picturesque landscaping and colorful pageantry throughout the shire make it more inviting and exciting than ever. The Great Lakes Medieval Faire is known for its beautiful and elaborate gardens filled with the brilliant colors and an amazing assortment of plants.

The staff at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire is eager to work with you and share all of the fun to be had at our Medieval Village, The Land of Avaloch. To best serve those members of the media who would like to visit and enjoy our entertainment venue, we ask for a written request or email at least one week prior to the date you wish to come to the park. We ask that you fax or email your request including your name, title, and your desired date of arrival, and someone from our staff will contact you to confirm your request.
